My son Cody was took to soon from this earth. He was a bright and energetic 12 year old child who
because of the irresposible choices of his father was in a horrible accident that took his life. I
try everyday to live with this some days are better then others but no matter what my day holds I
think of my son!!! No mother should have to bury a child but especially a child this young. Cody
would be 14 if he was here today. I celebrate him 365 days a year, and try to live this life as best
I can until I meet him again in the next one. I have learned to deal with the anger, hurt , and
frustration of this and focus on the possitive things in life. I wear my Cody braclet everyday as a
constant reminder that the choices I make daily not only effect me but effect others and no one
should have to live with my mistakes like I have to live with the mistakes of my sons dad. Cody will
be with me, he will always be a part of me, and he made me who I am and for that I can not be more
greatful... I just don't get to hold him and tell him anymore what he means but I say it and I hope
he hears me. He once said live life to the fullest you only get one and I REALLY TRY TO DO THIS not
just for him but for me..I never got to say good bye but I am sure it is because I will see him
later.
